Overview

Ironclad Manufacturing outgrew its 5-tonne gantry and bought a 10-tonne overhead crane — but the existing runway beams were never rated for it. We designed, fabricated and installed new runway beams, end stops, conductor brackets and upgraded columns, all while the shop kept running below.

Working above live production meant weekend lifts and magnetic-drilled connections where hot works were restricted. Beams were surveyed to a 2mm level tolerance so the new crane travels whisper-quiet.
